Village of Burns Lake
The Village of Burns Lake, BC implemented its facade program that matched dollar for dollar, a one-time reimbursement grant of 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $5,000 per business. The total fund was $20,000 provided by Northern Development Initiative Trust and administrated by the Village.
Project Outcomes Include:
- The promotional program was a great success. Almost every business took part.
- Tourism in the area has increased and more people are stopping in at local businesses.
