Luv’n the Loops is a component of Tourism Kamloops’ reinvigorated visitor services strategy to advocate for the local visitor economy.
The Luv’n the Loops Passport is a free digital passport available on a smartphone web browser to access travel deals to over 35 tourism-related businesses in the Kamloops area. A guest can create account with their email address at www.luvntheloops.com. Once a participating business, the guest scans a poster with a unique QR code to not only receive an instant discount, but also gain a digital passport stamp to their account.
Every season, Tourism Kamloops partners with local businesses to incentivize passport users to win based on earning the minimum amount of stamps (i.e, 5 stamps for the fall contest in October 2020, 10 stamps for the winter contest in January 2021, etc.) and promotes this paid & organic social channels.
The goals of the Luv’n the Loops Passport include:
Reinvigorate Kamloops’ visitor economy by providing incentives to local residents to support local
Advocate for niche businesses in the local tourism industry
Ensure that local residents can list off three amazing experiences in Kamloops, any day of the year.
Engage businesses, elected officials, and community leaders in a conversations about the tourism economy in Kamloops
