The 65-acre master planned community will have a commercial/ neighbourhood center, a hotel, 700+ residential units, and assisted living communities. Tenants at Oyster Bay include the Ladysmith & District Credit Union, the First Nations Health Authority, an 81-room Microtel Inn & Suites, a Tim Hortons and Esso station, plus a First Nations-owned law firm, log contractor and liquor store. CSDC is in early discussions with assisted living developers and will be pursuing residential development in 2017.
