Oyster Bay Development is the cornerstone of Stz’uminus First Nation economic development activities, located on SFN’s IR 12 along the Trans Canada Highway, Ladysmith, BC. Now under construction, Oyster Bay will be a whole new town.

The 65-acre master planned community will have a commercial/ neighbourhood center, a hotel, 700+ residential units, and assisted living communities. Tenants at Oyster Bay include the Ladysmith & District Credit Union, the First Nations Health Authority, an 81-room Microtel Inn & Suites, a Tim Hortons and Esso station, plus a First Nations-owned law firm, log contractor and liquor store. CSDC is in early discussions with assisted living developers and will be pursuing residential development in 2017.
