Venture Kamloops is submitting our Special Purpose Website called Start Here 3.0. In 2016, Venture Kamloops developed the online Start Here portal to provide greater access to the essential resources for business offered by Venture Kamloops.
To develop more connections between entrepreneurs and Kamloops supports in 2018, we teamed up with Community Futures Thompson Country and the Open Door Group to expand the program. The Special Purpose Website provides easy intake of entrepreneurs, and connects them to the best first point of contact.
The new Start Here 3.0 marks an evolution in communication vehicles used by several economic development organizations in Kamloops.
Local entrepreneurs can make their first point of contact at any of these three economic development supporters to receive valuable and complimentary business guidance and facilitated access to an integrated resource network. The Special Purpose Website also informs them of a full spectrum of wrap-around services to help them at every stage of their business.
By early 2019 we experienced more meetings and added a special online connection tab for Kamloops Innovation & TRU Generator, for entrepreneurs looking to start in Tech.
