The overall goal of the communications strategy is to increase awareness, engagement and support of TFN Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) in its effort to market their industrial lands, branded as the Deltaport Logistic Centre (DLC).

The communications strategy addressed external and internal communications issues that have the potential to affect public awareness and perception of the project, pose a risk factor to communications, or provide an opportunity to make communications more effective in terms of cost, execution time or impact. The strategy addresses issues related to TEDC and Deltaport Logistics Centre, as well as other TEDC assets and responsibilities, simultaneously as communications initiatives for each are complementary and have the potential to positively affect the other, especially considering the great extent to which they involve similar stakeholders, issues and media.
